If you've got PetSafe's YardMax wireless fence system, this add-on collar lets you use that barrier with a another dog, or it can also replace a lost or damaged collar. It fits dogs five pounds and up, with a neck size range of 6-28".
Uses static correction
As your pooch approaches the perimeter you've set up, he'll get a warning beep, followed by increasing levels of static correction. If he continues past the wire, he'll receive progressively stronger corrections from the collar until returning inside the perimeter, or until the safety time-out activates after 15 seconds. Before long, he'll know exactly where the no-go zone is, and he won't test it.
Part of a whole-home containment system
The receiver collar also works with PetSafe's Pawz Away barrier products, so it can keep your dog away from off-limits zones indoors, too.
